Though iOS users have covered a handful of enhancements over time, they haven’t so far got a quick way to access mobile data options in the Settings app.
In fact, the Wi-Fi and Bluetooth settings are available in the Control Center, and you, of course, have quick access to them. Badly, the mobile data doesn’t show up there, which upsets a number of users. Moreover, the 3D touch options of the Settings app did have shortcuts to Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, but not mobile data settings.
Thankfully, iOS 10 made a new shortcut for mobile date available in the quick actions menu for the Settings app. It’s obvious that only devices including 3d Touch support can benefit from it. From now on, owners of the iPhone 6s, iPhone 6s Plus or the later 2016 iPhones, can quickly open mobile data settings in iOS 10.
Now, take a look at how to quickly open mobile data settings in iOS 10 using 3D Touch.
Step 1: When you would like to access Mobile Data options, just look for the Settings app, and then 3D Touch it by deeply pressing the app icon until you feel vibration feedback.
Step 2: You are now presented with the Quick Actions, including the shortcuts: Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Battery, and of course, Mobile Data.
Step 3: Simply tap on it to delve into Mobile Data settings.
It’s a good idea to keep the Settings app icon on your home screen so that you can find it more quickly.
That’s it. You are now able to quickly open mobile data settings without walking through the Settings app menus. What do you think about this? Drop us a line in the comments section below.
