Steps to turn on AirDrop feature for iPhone or iPad

Step 1: First, you will need to access Control Center by swiping up from the bottom of your iPhone/iPad’s screen.

Step 2: Now, enable Bluetooth and Wi-Fi.

Step 3: Tap on AirDrop.

Step 4: You can either tap on Contacts Only or Everyone to turn AirDrop on.

If you choose Contacts, you and the person you wish to AirDrop with need to be logged into iCloud and be in each other’s Contacts.

If you choose Everyone, you let everyone, even those you don’t know AirDrop you.

Steps to AirDrop files from your iPhone or iPad

You can AirDrop files from any iPhone or iPad app that has a Share sheet.

Step 1: Locate the file you want to send with AirDrop.

Step 2: Tap on the Share button on the bottom right corner of your screen.

Step 3: Tap on the person or device you would like to share to.

Files sent via AirDrop will show up in the app that supports those sorts of files.
