Call Forwarding serves as a carrier-specific feature that allows you to forward calls from your phone to another phone. In fact, not a lot of people actively use the call forwarding feature on their phone, but it does come in handy in tons of situations in case you are busy and can’t take calls. For example, when you are taking a vacation to somewhere and you wish to redirect work calls to your office. So, if you are using an iPhone and you are wondering how to forward calls on your phone, just check out the 2 following ways to get it done.
Forward Calls on iPhone Natively
Step 1: First, launch the Settings app on your iPhone.
Step 2: Scroll down a bit and tap on Phone.
Step 3: Tap on Call Forwarding. Here, flip the switch for Call Forwarding to the ON position.
Step 4: Now, you are prompted to enter the number you wish to forward the calls to.
Step 5: Once done, the calls will start forwarding.
If you change your mind, you can turn off Call Forwarding feature by flipping the switch to the OFF position.
Forward Calls through Third Party App
You can also forward calls using the third party app, called Call Forwarding. The app will forward calls when busy, unreachable, or left unanswered. When you select one of the options, Call Forwarding will automatically copies the USSD code for that certain option that you can then run through the phone app.
Note that the app uses the default call forwarding codes used by GSM carriers worldwide, so it will not work if your carrier is not a GSM carrier.
Those are the 2 ways to forward calls on iPhone. Run into any difficulty? Prefer a different method than these two? Share with us in the comments section below.
