Steps to recover a just deleted voicemail

Step 1: First and foremost, you will need to launch the Phone app.

Step 2: Tap on Voicemail, scroll down to the bottom of the list containing your existing messages, then locate and tap on Deleted Messages.

Step 3: You are now presented with recently deleted voicemail messages.

  • If you want to listen to a voicemail message, just tap on it and then the play button.
  • If you want to recover a voicemail message, just tap on it, and then Undelete. It will then be moved back to the stored list.

Steps to permanently remove deleted voicemails

Step 1: Launch the Phone app.

Step 2: Tap on Voicemail, scroll down to the bottom of the list containing your existing messages, then locate and tap on Deleted Messages.

Step 3: Once you are in, tap on Clear All in the upper-right corner of the Deleted Messages folder.

Step 4: Tap on Clear All to confirm. All the deleted voicemails will be removed permanently from the main messages list. Note that you can delete them on an individual basis by swiping across each and then tapping on Delete.
