Spotify users who are using a jailbroken iOS 9 device will surely love a new free jailbreak tweak called Quickify. The tweak adds a new button to the Now Playing view of Control Center and the Lock screen so that you will be able to quickly save songs you listen to from the Spotify app.
To specify, while you are playing a song in Spotify, you just need to tap that button to immediately move the song to your Spotify playlist without the need to launch the Spotify app in order to perform the same task. Also, you don’t have to unlock your device to save whatever you hear with ease. In case your iPhone is in the locked state, the button on the Lock screen is located next to the fast-forward button. When the song hasn’t been saved yet, the button is a plus icon to demonstrate that you can save the song. Once the song is successfully saved to your Spotify playlist, the button becomes a checkmark icon.
Quickify is currently available for free from Cydia’ BigBoss repository. It’s good to know that the tweak only works on iOS 9. If you are using a jailbroken iOS 10 device, the tweak doesn’t work at all.
If Spotify is not your default music app on the iPhone, you can download it for free from the App Store.
Besides Quickify, you can use a jailbreak tweak called Tweakify. The tweak adds your new songs to the top instead of the bottom. So, you can easily locate them while you can still move and re-order your tracks on your own afterwards. The newly-added songs will be the first songs that play when you begin playing a Spotify playlist from the top.
Just head to Cydia’s BigBoss repository to download and install the tweak on your jailbroken iPhone.
