With iOS 10, Apple adds the new Bedtime feature to the Clock app. The feature is intended to help you have a better night’s sleep. To specify, Bedtime gives you the option to check how many hours per night you need. Plus, it will remind you when to sleep each night. So, with the help of Bedtime, you are able to set a better sleep schedule.
Not stopping there, you can have different ringtones available for waking you up. Besides, the Health will use the information collected from Bedime in Clock to show your sleep analysis. For now, let’s take a look at how to use Bedtime in Clock with iOS 10.
Steps to enable Bedtime in Clock with iOS 10
Step 1: First and foremost, you will need to launch the Clock app on iPhone.
Step 2: Once you are in, tap the Bedtime tab at the bottom of the screen.
Step 3: Tap the Bedtime switch and flip it to open.
Step 4: Here, you can drag each end of the circle in order to change your Bedtime and Wake time easily. At the center, it tells you how much sleep you will get if you go to sleep and wake up at the times you have set.
Step 5: Below the circle, you will be presented with Sleep Analysis which allows you to see your week of sleeping. If you want to check how you have slept in the past, simply tap More history. The Health app will open.
Steps to change the settings of Bedtime in Clock
Step 1: First off, tap Options in the upper left corner of the main screen in Bedtime.
Step 2: You will have 4 options, including Days of Week, Bedtime Reminder, Wake Up Sound, and Volume.
- Days of Week: Just tap each day of the week to turn Bedtime on or off for that day.
- Bedtime Reminder: This lets you change when it will remind you about your Bedtime.
- Wake Up Sound: This option lets you change the sound that wakes you up.
- Volume: This lets you adjust the Wake up Sound volume.
Step 3: Once you are satisfied, tap Done.
