watchOS 3 comes with a cool handwriting feature called Scribble that allows you to communicate with text instead of a canned reply or dictation. All you have to do is write letters with your finger on your Watch’s screen and they will then turn into text that can be sent through email, iMessage, chat rooms, etc. In this article, we will be presenting to you how to scribble messages on the Apple Watch.
Steps to scribble messages on the Apple Watch
Step 1: First off, you are supposed to press the digital crown to go to the app screen.
Step 2: Once you are in, tap the Messages app icon.
Step 3: Next, head to the conversation for the person to whom you wish to write a message.
Step 4: Here, tap the new Scribble button.
Step 5: You are now presented with a screen with a dotted grid area. Simply move your finger here and write one letter at a time. You can write one letter on top of the previous one.
Note: Once you are finished writing at least one letter, the up and down button should show up on the right. You can tap this button to access the predictive text list depending on what you have written so far. Alternatively, you can turn the digital crown to reveal the list.
Step 6: If you want to erase something, just tap the Backspace button located in the lower-right corner of the screen.
Step 7: Once you are done writing your message, tap Send in the upper-right corner of the screen.
