Did you take a good picture with your iPhone but you didn’t frame it perfectly? Well, in this case you may want to perform photos edits on it. Thankfully, Apple does offer editing tools right inside the Photos app that allow you to easily crop, rotate, and resize your photos. The cool thing is that you don’t need to download additional software for this purpose. In this tutorial, we will walk you through the steps to rotate pictures using the Photos app on iPhone.
Steps to rotate pictures using the Photos app on iPhone
Step 1: First and foremost, you are supposed to launch the Photos app from your Home screen.
Step 2: Once you are in, locate the image you would like to rotate.
Step 3: You now need to tap the hamburger menu that is located at the bottom of the screen. Doing so will bring up your editing menu in the Photos app.
Step 4: Tap the crop button next to Cancel at the bottom of the screen.
Step 5: Tap the rotate button that is located in the lower left corner and looks like a box with one arrow pointing to the left. This will rotate your photo 90 degrees. You can tap it again to rotate the photo 180 degrees.
Step 6: Once you are finished rotating the photo, tap Done in the lower right corner of the screen.
That’s all there it takes. Pretty simple, right? Rotating comes in handy when you accidentally take a picture without the camera being in the right orientation.
