How to backup iPhone to computer

You simply follow the below steps to back up all your locked iPhone data to the computer without the need of iTunes.

Step 1: Plug your iPhone to computer

First, you have to download & install dr.fone software on your computer. Once done, launch the program and connect your iPhone to the computer with the help of USB cable.

Your iPhone will then be detected even when it’s still locked. The Dr.Fone will show it automatically.

Step 2: Choose Backup & Restore

From the list of features on the screen, you just click on the Backup&Restore option and then select Backup.

The entire data will be divided into 3 categories, including Privacy, Multimedia, and AppData.

Step 3: Select files to back up

To back up all your iPhone data, simply click on “Select all” option at the privacy category.

Next, click on the folder icon near “Backup path” to choose the backup location and then click on the “Backup” button.

The dr.fone program will now start backing up the data on your locked iPhone and the process will take few minutes depending on the data size. Remember not to disconnect your iPhone during the backup process.
