In the past, changing the carrier logo can only be done on jailbroken iOS devices. However, in iOS 12 version, you can now easily change it on your iPhone/iPad. If you don’t want to jailbreak your device the unc0ver jailbreak, then you can still tweak some aspect of iOS 12.x.x as your preference.
In this post, we show easy steps to change the carrier logo on your iPhone/iPad running iOS 12.1.2-12 without using the computer or jailbreaking your device. You can do it directly from your phone itself. Here’s what you should do.
Steps to Change Carrier Logo in iOS 12 Without Jailbreak
Step 1: on your iPhone/iPad running iOS 12, open Safari browser and visit this URL: app.ignition.fun
Step 2: Tap on the X icon in the top left corner to turn off the pop-up advertisement. At the bottom, tap on the second icon from the left which is like an opening box with a triangle pointed
Step 3: Now, scroll down the list and tap on Utilities.
Step 4: Search for “CarrierChanger12” and select it. Next, tap on the “GET” option to start the installation process.
Step 5: Since it’s a third-party app and is installed outside of Apple Store, so you’ll need to inform your iPhone/iPad that the app requires trust from your device. Head to Settings –> General –> Profiles & Device Management and search for the profile. Tap on “Trust” and then trust it again on the popup.
Step 6: Now, simply open the CarrierChanger12 app on your phone. You’ll then see that there’s a box above that allows you to use the text that you want it to appear for the carrier logo. You can also type in emoji characters for your purpose. Write whatever you want and then tap on the “Go” button on the main menu of the app.
When the process is completed, there will be alert showing in the screen, prompting the change worked. That’s all you need!
