Step 1: Launch the Kindle app on your iPad or iPhone.
Step 2: Head to your Library. Scroll down until you see the Device section. Just tap it.
Step 3: If you are viewing your items in list mode, you swipe to the left and choose either Delete (samples) or Archive (purchased books) in order to delete a sample or archive a book.
If you are viewing your items in grid mode, deep press to bring up the two options: Delete Permanently (samples) and Remove from Device (purchased books).

Step 1: First and foremost, you are required to log-in to Amazon account in a web browser.
Step 2: On your computer, head to Amazon.com in a web browser and log in to your account.
Step 3: Hit the arrow next to Your Account at the top.
Step 4: Choose Manage Your Content and Devices from the drop down menu.
Step 5: You should see a list of all your books stored in the Cloud and/or on your devices. Look for the book(s) you would like to delete.
Step 6: Check the box next to the title you want to delete, then hit Delete near the top.
Step 7: You will need to confirm the deletion by hitting Yes, delete permanently.
