You can easily block callers and iMessagers that annoy you, but there may come a time where you wish to undo that block. Thankfully, unblocking a contact from iOS is pretty simple, so whether you accidentally blocked someone, you blocked a number before realizing who it was, or you have changed your mind, here’s how you can quickly remove someone from your blocked list on iPhone/iPad.
Steps to unblock a phone number or email address on iPhone and iPad
Step 1: First and foremost, you are supposed to fire up the Settings app from your Home screen.
Step 2: Next, you need to tap Phone, Messages, or FaceTime.
Step 3: If you selected Phone, tap Call Blocking & Identification. If you selected Messages or FaceTime, tap Blocked. This will bring up the current list of contacts blocked from reaching you.
Step 4: Tap the Edit button in the top right corner of the screen.
Step 5: You are now required to tap the red minus button alongside the number or email address you wish to unblock.
Step 6: In the end, tap Unblock, and exit out of Settings as usual. The phone number or email address should be removed from your blocked list, and you can now contact them again. Alternatively, you can swipe left on the number or email address you wish to unblock and simply tap Unlock.
That’s all there is to it. Pretty simple right? If you have any questions or concerns about how to remove someone from your blocked list on iPhone/iPad, drop them in the comments section below and we will be happy to help you out with the problem you may have.
