Signing out of iCloud in iOS 10.3 is a bit different than previous iOS versions, as it now involves the new Apple ID banner. To sign out of

  • Open Settingson your Home screen.
  • Next, tap on the Apple ID bannerat the top of your screen.
  • Scroll to the bottom and tap on Sign Out.
  • If you have different accounts for iCloud, iTunes and App Stores, tap on Sign out of iCloud. If not, skip this step.
  • Enter your password of your iCloud Apple ID.
  • Select Turn Off.
  • Then, toggle the switch on for each section that you want to keep on your iPhone.
  • Tap on Sign Out.
  • Tap it again to confirm signing out of your iCloud account.

Steps to sign out of iCloud on iPhone or iPad in iOS 10.2.1 and earlier

If you’re still running iOS 10.2.1 or earlier iOS version on your iPhone/ iPad, follow these steps to sign out of iCloud.

  • Launch Settingsapp from your iPhone/ iPad.
  • Next, tap on iCloud.
  • Then, scroll down and choose Sign Out.
  • Tap on Sign Out.
  • Tap on Delete from My iPhone.
  • Select Delete or Keep for iCloud contacts, Safari, reminders, and calendars on your iPhone/iPad.
  • Enter your password of the iCloud account.
  • Finally, tap on Turn Off.
